Year 3 really enjoyed making clay Volcanoes! Our next step is to create the bubbling lava in our Science lesson. Videos and pictures of this to come.
In year 4, we have been learning about states of matter. Today we investigated gasses. We learned about how carbon dioxide was discovered by Joseph Priestly and how it is used to make fizzy drinks and fire extinguishers!
We wanted to discover which fizzy drink was the fizziest out of a selection of 4. To do this we weighed the drinks when they were fizzy, then we shook them 100 times until they were flat. After that, we weighed them again and worked out the difference in weight.
We found out that the cherryade was the fizziest as it had lost the most weight!
We have just received this feedback from the judges of the Lego League competition.
Today the year 6?s led our assembly about ?Youth Friday.?
We learned that it is important to find a quiet place to pray!
Today the school had a none uniform day. Every one dressed up in lovely clothes. Year five learned about mountains, how they are formed and where they are. We also drawled mountains in pencil and in oil pastels. This week it is half term we will be off and having lots of fun ,we hope you enjoy it.

- Ask an adult before downloading a game.
- Never arrange to meet up with someone you don?t know
We have also been leaning about square numbers and in literacy we have been looking at mood and atmosphere. In SPaG we have been leaning about present progressive tense and past progressive tense. This week it has been good.
