Yewdale
This morning, Yewdale went canoeing in Crocodile Creek. We played some games and had to swap boats in the middle of the lake. We also had a chance to jump off the jetty! It was really cold but still good fun.
Langdale
Today Langdale had our mountain day. It was tough work but we helped each other out and managed to get to the top. We celebrated with some hot chocolate and well-deserved flapjack.
Grizedale
Today we climbed Holm Fell in the morning. We had quite a tough climb, it was very foggy! We had hot chocolate when we got to the top. In the afternoon we went kayaking on the lake. We went down Crocodile Creek and across the water.
When we all got back to the centre, we enjoyed some time in the lounge before our tea. Tonight, we had pasta and Bolognese with garlic bread and some of us were brave enough to try some parmesan cheese! After tea, we completed some work in our logbooks and played a game of hide and seek in the dark using our torches. After that, we had our barn time and finally settled into our beds to get a good sleep for our activities tomorrow.
